In 2019, TAP conducted unique market research to understand the social attitude to thanking. TAP spoke to over 200 people about the act of thanking and the TAP concept. It was extremely encouraging to see some strong trends:
Gratitude improves self-esteem, A 2014 study published in the Journal of Applied Sport Psychology found that gratitude increased athletes’ self-esteem, an essential component to optimal performance.
I want to make sure that my colleagues continue to be appreciated on an ongoing basis. As a headteacher, I’m excited by the opportunities TAP provides to support staff well-being and as a firm believer in the power of thanks, know that it will create an environment of positivity.
