To: All NHS workers

From the frontline, a big thank you to all in the NHS for the huge effort being put in. Working under difficult, dangerous and constantly changing circumstances is stressful. People are tired and stretched, working arduous shifts and then added shifts to cover both the extra workload and colleagues, who have gone off sick or who are having to self-isolate. The looming challenge of capacity is frightening, partly because the degree and duration are unknown…..but they just get on with it. What impresses me, is the way people are identifying an endless stream of issues. Also keeping calm despite their fears, working it through together and coming up with solutions - acting rationally and adapting – because in the face of this virulent disease, that's all we can do. - Anonymous
